Episode #208: How to Set and Achieve Your Goals
Welcome back for another big year of Future Squared and a very happy new year to you, I hope that this year brings you prosperity, growth, fullfillment and fun both in your professional and personal life!
In the very first instalment of Fast Fix Friday for the year, I thought it would make sense to talk about your goals for the year - not only how to set them but some things you might want to put into place to help you achieve them!
We’ve all made resolutions, or quote unquote committed to achieving certain goals in the past, but often fallen short - I’ve talked about cognitive biases in previous episodes of the show, and the optimist illusion, which bitcoin and cryptocurrency expert Andreas Antonopolous reminded us of in episode #167, often lulls us into thinking we’ll achieve said goals and therefore we rely too much on willpower, which oftentimes, especially when there’s so many other things going on in our lives, simply isn’t enough.
